Bits and bobs

An investigation for BBC news estimates that 500,000 singletons in the London area have registered for internet dating.

Researchers from the University of California-Irvine have been studying older people (aged 60+) who have been eating the recommended daily amount of B vitamin Folic Acid (found in leafy green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach) for at least 10 years. They reported that the group had lowered their risk of contracting Alzheimer's Disease by 55%.
