A quick snippet that I caught on GMTV this morning: the new edition of the Oxford English Dictionary is published today. Apparently it contains 350 terms of abuse and only 40 words that are used as compliments. Mmm...
Oh, and if you're a redhead, you'll be pleased to know that you cope better with pain than us brunettes and blondes. So much so, that a team of British scientists is investigating the gene responsible for red hair with a view to developing new pain killing drugs and anaesthetics.
