How do I get my kids to accept my new partner?

I have been contacted by several women who have been single for a while (and therefore don’t consider themselves to be newly-single), asking if I am going to be running any teleclasses for separated and divorced women who are a bit more established as singletons. One theme that crops up on a regular basis is ‘How do I get my kids to accept my new partner?’. I think this could be combined with ‘What do I need to do to get my new partner’s kids to accept me?’ to form the basis for a really good discussion session.
